Isabel was born in the Australia mainland in Melbourne. Isabel is Australian born, however the mother of her is Swiss. Along with her sister Nina She attended schools where First Nations and other children with different cultural backgrounds were welcomed. Isabel lives in Byron Bay in NSW Australia. Isabel was involved in drama since her school days. Following her graduation from Queensland University of Technology, she continued her studies in acting at the Victorian College of Arts. Additionally, she recently completed one PEM Method program (Perdekamp Emotional Method) to study. The actress never had auditions for parts until she was spotted from her agents in 2002. She auditioned for part on Home and Away (1988). The producers thought she wasn't suitable for the role, but was sufficiently impressed that they created a new role for her Tasha. In 2009, her breakthrough role was in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Since then she starred in many US and Australian films and has won numerous awards. Isabel is currently in Bosh & Rockit, a film which is quickly becoming an Australian classic. Additionally, she played in the film due out in Lunacy. Isabel recently wrapped Sons of Summer. She is in the preparation phase for her role as Marie Curie with award winning filmmaker and writer Annika Glas.
